Grimes Education Foundation is a California-based 501c3 non-profit organization connecting the capabilities of literacy and learning to the resources of private sector, public sector, and nonprofit sector organizations in developing partnerships of greater cultural, intellectual, and entrepreneurial global insight toward innovative "glocal" leadership. 

 

Who We Are:

Grimes Education Foundation, Inc. focuses on delivering value-added inputs to global and domestic educational entities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and the private sector. Through education, cultural understanding, and innovative thinking we ensure capability combined with the synergy of external and internal supporting resources for the customized execution of culturally complex projects. Additionally, GEF is dedicated to providing interactive learning experiences for educators, students, scholars, and professionals furthering positive global synergies and alliances.

 

What We Do: (Past Iteration)

Grimes Education Foundation encourages global logistical alliances between public, private, community-nonprofit, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) connecting students, teachers, and schools to foster opportunities of cultural, intellectual, and entrepreneurial exchange. This education supply chain focus on K-12 student to student interaction, K-12 teacher to teacher interaction, and K-14 workforce development exploration enhances the education value chain and sustainable competitive advantage. We anticipate the establishment of independent cultural exchange programs linked to literacy, entrepreneurship, and language immersion; and furthermore, by assisting with closing the digital divide and distribution of educational related materials, we promote domestic and global education/business synergies through collaborative partnerships.

CULTURAL EXCHANGE 

Grimes Education Foundation works with domestic and global organizations to foster goodwill educational exchanges between schools and students through programs such as Teacher & Student Exchange, Sister Schools Program, and Cultural Summer Academies.

LANGUAGE IMMERSION ADVOCATE

Grimes Education Foundation works with global & domestic schools to develop and establish language immersion programs. We assist in the development of seamless immersion programs to ensure continuity in language proficiency development. 

 

INDEPENDENT EDUCATION AMBASSADOR

Grimes Education Foundation acts as an unofficial International Education Diplomat and Advisory.

Closing the Digital Divide

Grimes Education Foundation works as an intermediary with participating organizations and key knowledge partners seeking to close the Digital Divide within the education supply chain.

 

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION OF BOOKS AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS

Grimes Education Foundation works with school districts and key knowledge partners to collect and distribute useable new and surplus textbooks and other educational materials to economically emerging regions and countries.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Grimes Education Foundation may engage global, federal, state, and local agencies to assist with the development of innovative strategic plans to coordinate various education, training, and employment programs into an integrated workforce system.
